Pineapple Pretzel Salad

1 cup crushed pretzels

1 stick melted butter

1/3 cup sugar

1 (20 oz) can pineapple tidbits drained

1 (8oz) cream cheese softened

1/2 cup sugar

8 oz cool whip

 

Mix first three ingredients.  Spread on cookie sheet.  Bake @ 400 degrees for 6 minutes until light brown.  Let cool, then break up.

 

Mix cream cheese and sugar.  Add pineapple.  Fold in cool whip.  Chill.  Fold in pretzels right before serving.
